It's been awhile since my last blog. As I type, I'm trying to figure out just what to say. So much is going on in the world now and I feel a responsibility to people, strangers I'd probably never meet outside of my own pursuits.
Haiti.
This is not a "You should feel sorry & donate here" blog. The truth is, each of us must search our own conscious to realize what we can & are willing to do. Some will do nothing, & some will do everything. I hope we can all take time out to view what's happening, and see past deception. Past the chaos in our hemisphere.
Hopefully, we are moved in some way.
Hopefully our natural fight or flight senses are not dulled by what we've already seen on TV. And if so,
Hopefully we rediscover our true integrity and realize we have a part in it all.
Our personal lives are finite to the world at large, and even finer if you believe in a higher power. Everything living is made up of the same molecules found in land & sea. There is an interconnectedness. An undeniable Oneness. A just cause to put ourselves in someone else's shoes.
Haiti is not alone. Katrina victims are not alone. Tsunami victims.
9/11 victims, war victims... are not alone.
Asia, Africa & the Middle East... we see you & you are not alone.
